The Weissman family has been shaping the childcare industry for over 40 years, establishing trusted brands and creating learning environments that inspire children to grow, play, and thrive. In 1987, Michael Weissman and his son Richard acquired Tutor Time, a childcare company with over 200 centers across 25 states and four countries, before retiring in 1997 and 1999, respectively. Their passion for early childhood education led them to reenter the industry in 2002, bringing back The Learning Experience® brand. Under Michael’s leadership as Chairman and CEO, The Learning Experience® flourished, and in 2014, Richard assumed both roles upon Michael’s retirement. For more than 20 years, The Learning Experience® has remained dedicated to providing excellence in early education, driven by the Weissman family’s commitment to innovation, philanthropy, and a unique approach that fosters learning through the eyes of a child.
